Executive Team
Don BowmanExecutive Pastor
Don Bowman grew up in Wichita, KS, where he attended Westside Church of the Nazarene. He received his call to ministry while taking flying lesson to become an airline pilot. It was in mid-air while practicing a spin maneuver that God spoke to him about a different direction for his future. Don was 18 years old at that time. From that day forward, Don made provisions to accept God’s call. He enrolled in Mid-America Nazarene College to pursue this calling in his life. After graduating from school, Don accepted a call to his home church in Wichita. He was there for seven years. God’s next step was the call to Grove City Nazarene. Don has served on staff at GCCN for 20 years. He currently serves as the Executive Pastor. His assignment as Executive Pastor is to oversee the operations of the church. This includes leading the staff executive team and overseeing all new projects and the overall vision of the church. Don believes if the church functions as a team and works together toward a single, clearly-defined goal, anything is possible. Everyone wins! His favorite Scripture verses are found in Colossians: “Whatever you do, work at it with all you heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.” Colossians 3:23-24 Don’s hobbies include working and flying remote-controlled airplanes. Don and his wife, Jan, have two sons, Brice and Christopher, that are currently heading to OU this next fall. Christopher is studying to be a pilot. Brice is studying marketing and video. Jan’s interest is in being a creative homemaker. Her hobby is scrapbooking and serving the church.

After TRUTH Travis began a solo ministry while finishing his degree in Vocal Music Education at Southwest Baptist University. He received the University's Outstanding Music Graduate award in 1990. Over the course of the next 8 years he made four solo recordings and led worship in more than 700 churches. During this same period he married his College sweetheart Renee' Harden, and they began a family. In 1995 Travis took his first position as a Worship Leader at Maranatha Fellowship in St. Albans West Virginia. He was ordained in May of 1995 through the Church of God. Rob Paugh
Rob attended Mt. Vernon Nazarene University and majored in religion because the youth ministry degree wasn’t even invented yet! Between Rob’s freshman and sophomore year at MVNU he took a break and joined the U.S. Army Reserve and served for 6 years at Fort McClellan, Fort Sam Houston and finally as a combat medic with the 2291st U.S. Army Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. While serving in the military Rob finished his degree from MVNU and was also on staff with Youth For Christ. During Rob’s senior year at MVNU he met Monica and they married in 1989. Rob and Monica took their first ministry assignment as youth pastor of Findlay First Church of the Nazarene in Findlay, Ohio, where he was ordained an Elder in the Church of the Nazarene at the Northwestern Ohio District Assembly. After serving at Findlay First they then moved to Newark First Church of the Nazarene in Newark, Ohio. In 1997 Rob was invited to join the staff of Grove City Church of the Nazarene as youth pastor.
